The first series of manima technology interfaces
Manima Technologies, a leading brand in LED technology, has launched their first series of advanced interfaces with the release of the MaNima Magnus series.
The first interface from Manima Magnus series was released at the beginning of 2020 and there are now 6 different versions on the market. The entire Manima Magnus series can be equipped with custom options. All interfaces can deliver exceptional performance, with the ability to control up to 26 universes. All these universes can record while they play (WYSIWYG).
Large number of SPI protocols
The Manima Magnus series belongs to the digital LED interfaces. These interfaces are used for controlling digital LEDs via Art-Net. A large number namely more than 50 protocols are compatible with the Manima interface.
The interface has 6 SPI ports, each port is individually configurable and can all be synchronized with each other. Different protocols can be sent over the individual ports. For example, port 1 can send APA102 protocol, while port 2 can send WS2812.
The interface is equipped with 2 DMX ports, which in turn can be used to send DMX protocols to various devices and/or LEDs. The DMX ports can be adjusted via the Manima configurator.
The Manima magnus is compatible with the manima configurator. the computer must be connected to the manima interface so that configuration can take place according to the user's wishes.
The interfaces can communicate with each other and thus message each other. This makes it possible to synchronize an unlimited number of interfaces. The interfaces can record and play synchronized, ensuring that recording / playback always starts or stops at exactly the same time. This way there are no distorted images
Triggers digital and analog
To control the interface with actions outside the manima configurator, 6 analog and 5 digital triggers are used. Before these triggers work they need to be configured. Control takes place by sending a small voltage of 0-10V to the digital or analog inputs of the interface. The triggers are used to start, stop or dim a scene.
HMI screen anyway
The Manima Technologies Hmi touchscreen can be connected to the Manima Magnus via Ethernet and can be used as a control panel for the interface. It can be fully customized to your wishes, but can also simply be used to start, stop and dim a scene.
The entire Magnus range is compatible with all 3rd party LED map software if they use Art-Net. When working with this interface, you are free to use any desired LED mapper.
