Ultra violet LED strip (UV LED strip)
Ultra violet (UV) LED light is electromagnetic radiation, with wavelengths between 100-420 nm. In connection with the effects on the environment, a distinction is made between UV-A, UV-B and UV-C. UV-C is a shortwave ultraviolet radiation and is located between 100 and 280 nm. UVB has a wavelength between 280 and 315 nm. And UV-A between about 315 and 400 nm ("long waves"). Each wavelength type is used for a different application, some applications require a specific wavelength. For example, to illuminate minerals, a wavelength of 365nm is required. Some examples where UV-LED strips can be used;
- UV curing technology suitable for coatings
- Plant growth
- Skin therapy
- Industrial applications
- Applications in laboratories
- UV-C for disinfection in the food industry
