Product description
This high power COB LED, white, 40 Watts is intended for designs where a high brightness is needed. They are available in both warm white (3200K 3000 ...) and white (6500K 6000 ... something cool white), and that at 20 watts and 40 watts.
The LEDs are selected one by relalief low driving current (600mA and 1200mA) at a forward voltage of about 32 V. As with every COB LED you required an appropriate LED current driver.
The COB LED definitely need a good cooling, an aluminum heatsink or aluminum housing of sufficient size is a must. The thermal resistance of the heatsink must be at least 2.5 ° C / W, a lower value may also choosed.
