Product description
This lens cover is opal in color and made of polycarbonate. With opal lens covers the LED-strip is not visible.
Polycarbonate lenshoods have many advantages over PMMA (most profile covers are made of this). In the area of fire safety, polycarbonate is the only material approved for public areas. The flammability classification of our polycarbonate lens caps is UL 94 V - 2. PMMA, on the other hand, is prohibited because of the melting, dripping and toxic gases released in the event of fire.
