Ferrules to be used in order to squeeze at the stripped end of a flexible wire, allowing a safer and better connection under the screws in connectors and terminal blocks. Turning the screw will not result to get the fine strands of the core apart and broken. In contrast with tinned wire, a wire with a crimped ferrule is secure, even over a long time. This prevents bad contacts and therefore also the risk of fire.
