Opal lens cover suitable for the recessed, construction as the corner LED-strip profile. The lens cover opal gives a diffuse and homogeneous (uniform) light and is often used in places where an even LED line is necessary or where the application is visible. The individual LEDs are not visible. The light with this lens cover is softer than in bright and satin lens covers.

The opal lens covers are made of polycarbonate and have many advantages over PMMA (most profile covers are made of this). In the area of fire safety, polycarbonate is the only material approved for public areas. The flammability classification of our polycarbonate lens covers is UL 94 V - 2. PMMA, on the other hand, is prohibited because of the melting, dripping and toxic gases released in the event of fire.
