Satin-finish lens hood with a 30-degree opening angle for focusing light. Suitable for applications where you want to refract (scatter) the light, but the light reduction must be minimal. This satin-finished lens hood for LED-strip profile is suitable for recessed, surface-mounted and corner profiles.

These lens hoods are made of polycarbonate and have many advantages over PMMA (most profile covers are made of this). In the area of fire safety, polycarbonate is the only material approved for public areas. The flammability classification of our polycarbonate lens caps is UL 94 V - 2. PMMA, on the other hand, is prohibited because of the melting, dripping and toxic gases released in the event of fire.
